The Global Innovators Accelerator aims to promote innovation in the international Federation's work and create opportunities for its entrepreneurial staff and volunteers to develop and showcase ideas which are grounded in the needs of the communities they are working with. Up to 27 individuals were selected from National Societies who will be involved  as Global Pioneers for one year.

Beliveing that good ideas should travel leads to a vision of a global network where the participants will have the opportunity for a better learning, exchange and support. Having someone out there following you, encouraging you and pushing you further is an amazing way of development for a better achievement.

Innovation can be a merger of a passion for a change and a simple idea that fits to the local needs. And that's what the project is about:  to provide better humanitarian services that respond to the global needs.

I'm Wiem Chamsi one of the participant in this amazing program, presenting the Tunisian Red Crescent. Full of energy, determination and belief in the necessity of a change, this opportunity is the first step for a long journey of hard work, inspiration and implementing wise strategy and new approches to empower our national society and develop outcomes.

My main focus will be headed to the youth empowerment as futur leaders and changermakers for better communities. As i strongly believe in youth as agent of change, and it's time to give them the opportunity and the trust to be the one who suggests ideas , new approches, solutions and be involved in the decision making.

With a lot of potential, creativity and a different perspective, giving them a chance to lead, to take responsability will forge positive energies and will give the space for the wind of change. And in this regards my innovator project will be painted with this kind of spirit. And thanks to the 1st innovation workshop that took place in Madrid Spain from the 23_27 january, i have now more tools and methodes to help implemeting a solid process of innovation in my national society and also i have all the encouragement from an amazing network of global innovators, experts and mentors working on similar issues.
